Admissions
The college angle
Admissions officers have seen 10,000 students who “learned Python at coding camp.” They haven't seen many who can say: “I identified a problem, designed a solution, built it with AI tools, shipped it live, and 47 of my classmates use it.”
A shipped app isn't just an activity — it's a story. It's evidence of initiative, product thinking, user empathy, and follow-through. It's the kind of project admissions committees remember because they can actually visit it and see it work.
Our optional College Portfolio Package ($500) takes this further: a professional write-up of your child's project — problem statement, technical approach, user impact, and what they learned — formatted specifically for college applications.

Demo Day: every student presents their shipped app to an audience of peers, parents, and mentors.
Expectations
What we expect
From students
- ✓Show up prepared. Complete homework between sessions. The more you put in, the better your app will be.
- ✓Be the product owner. This is YOUR app. You make the decisions. The mentor guides, but you drive.
- ✓Talk to real people. You'll interview potential users and watch people try your app.
- ✓Present your work. You'll present at two Demo Days — this builds communication skills and creates accountability.
From parents
- ✓Ensure your student has a reliable computer and stable internet connection.
- ✓Encourage the homework between sessions — but don't do it for them.
- ✓Attend the Final Demo Day. It's optional, but your child will want you there.
- ✓Set expectations appropriately: the app is a real product, but it's built by a young person with guidance.
- ✓All mentoring sessions are recorded for safety and quality. Parents are welcome to observe any session.
Policy
Refund policy
- 100%Full refund if cancelled before Session 1.
- 50%Half refund if cancelled before Session 4.
- 0%No refund after Session 4.
We keep this straightforward. If the program isn't the right fit, we'd rather know early. No fine print, no hidden fees.
